Membership FAQs
Do I still need to register for events if I’m a member?
Yes. Members receive priority access, and registration is encouraged as space is limited. Membership covers admission based on the membership type, but spots are not guaranteed without registering in advance.
What does priority registration mean?
Members receive access to event registration 1–2 days before it opens to the public, making it easier to secure a spot.
Can I attend more than my included events each month?
Yes. Community Supporters can attend additional gatherings at a discounted rate, and Sustainers and Builders have admission included for all cuddle gatherings (with registration).
What if I can’t make it to an event I registered for?
We understand that things come up. If you’re able, please cancel your registration in advance so the spot can be offered to someone else.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes. Memberships are month-to-month and can be canceled at any time. If you need to pause your membership, email us at [email protected].
How does the Community Builder space access work?
Builders receive up to 4 hours per month of private use of the Loom space. Scheduling is coordinated in advance, and we ask all Builders to help care for the space and leave it as they found it. As part of this, Builders agree to shared guidelines outlined in the Loom Collective space use agreement.
Why is there an application for the Community Builder tier?
Because this tier includes private access to the space, we use a brief application process to support trust, accountability, and shared care of the environment.
What if membership isn’t accessible for me right now?
You’re still welcome here. We're committed to keeping Loom accessible and offer a limited number of reduced- and no-cost tickets for each Loom event. Email us at [email protected] if cost is a barrier.
